🌷✨Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj ki Jai!✨🌷
Jagadguru Aadesh:
The Veda says - na śvaḥ śvaḥ upāsīta ko hi puruṣasya śvo veda।
Uncountable lifetimes have passed since we have repeatedly said, 'I'll do sadhana tomorrow' and procrastinated devotion. Your intellect has accepted, and you've experienced practically, that there is no happiness in this material world.
The way to attain God is the easiest - there are no rules or regulations in this - all we have to do is love God from our hearts. Still, we kept procrastinating, and one day kaal (Yama) said - Let us go, mister. Your time is over.
Prahlad had said -
kaumāra ācaret prājño dharmān bhāgavatāniha।
O, humans! Start devotion during childhood itself. You have received this human body to do devotion. Who knows whether one will be alive till their youth? Who knows when one has to leave this body? This habit of procrastinating will never go away because we give importance to our work in the material world. The work of this world will never end till infinite time. Also, since we work only to attain happiness, why not work where there is true happiness?
However, this mind is extremely adamant -
kahata sunata samujhata samujhāvata daśā hṛdaya nahīṃ āvai।
Our relatives draw us towards them and say - "love me, I have happiness." Everyone is cheating one another. Even after being cheated since time infinity, we are not able to make a firm resolution. We turn slightly towards God but then go straight back to the world. Mind is very powerful, and we are its slaves.
We don't have the strength to tolerate a single word against us. Think in isolation - what sin have I not committed? What fault do I not have? Until God-realization, we will have all the faults such as anger, lust, greed, etc. However, just among these, if someone points out one of our faults, a fire gets kindled inside us, and we end up creating enmity with that person. We harm ourselves knowingly.
Our mind is our biggest enemy. Memorize this sentence and remember its meaning all the time and practice - we won't listen to the mind - we'll listen to God, Guru, and the scriptures. We've ruined infinite lifetimes by continuously listening to the mind.
Hence, stop procrastinating. When you walk - as you go from here to eat, chant Radhey with each breath. Do not make anyone sad. Realize yourself as a sinful soul all the time. By deliberately accepting yourself as faultless, you won't become faultless.
If someone talks ill of you and you feel bad - this feeling in itself is another fault. By feeling bad, we create tension in our minds and harm ourselves both physically and spiritually. Why do you cause harm to yourself - Firstly, whatever he's saying is true. Secondly, even if he's saying something wrong, let him say it. You are a human being; if someone calls you an animal, let them say it. Alright, I must be appearing like an animal to him. But what's the sense of becoming an animal in response to that?
We should remain grounded in our personality - we need to practice this. Practice this for ten days and see. Be alert all the time. This person spoke ill of me - but Maharaj Ji had told me that I should not feel bad - "Thank you, you pointed out my faults, so you are my well-wisher. I had forgotten and started thinking of myself as faultless. You woke me up". Why should you feel bad if someone awakens the one who's sleeping? We need to stop trying to look good in the eyes of others and start trying to become truly good. Practice not feeling bad about anyone's words. Just by practicing a little, you'll start feeling some naturality in your behaviour - hence we need to keep practicing.
