💫April 22, 2025: Highlights of a soulful morning sadhana🎼

🌷✨Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj ki Jai!✨🌷

Jagadguru Aadesh:

Self-evaluation - 2

In one year, how much did you spend on your body, and how much did you spend on your soul? Do your calculations.

How much did you spend on your children, and how much did you spend on God? You are building your own bank balance with whatever you spend in the Godly realm.

One should ponder over these things seriously. We should practice removing our faults and bringing goodness within us.

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

Control your mind and remove your worldly desires. Stop finding faults in others. Control your own faults. Think of good things and purify your mind. Put your mind to God and Guru. Agreed, the world is material, and everyone is filled with faults. Except for those who are God-realized, everyone has accumulated uncountable sins in the form of sanchit karma. But we have to cleanse our own minds. So why look at others? Once you understand that everyone is just like us, no further discussion will be needed. Till one is under Maya, all faults will naturally be there.

The result of any sadhana is the purification of the mind - How much did we get attached to God? How beautiful did we find God? How eager did we feel to meet Him? How much did my mind get attached to Hari Guru, and how much did it get detached from the world? These are the ways to identify how much we have risen or fallen spiritually.

Time is running out. We should feel from within - "Today, I had such bad thoughts. I didn't think of God. Now I am 30 years old, now 50, and I am not making progress. Neither did I listen to the lessons from the scriptures, nor did I listen to my Guru." Then, one day - Bang! Yama's order came in, the human body was gone, and all ego got smashed into pieces. Now, it is time to face the consequences.

Hence, do not think of others' faults nor listen to them. If anyone talks ill of others, run from there the way you would when you look at a snake. And anyway, we cannot identify anyone by their external behaviour. There is no assurance of this human body, and even if there is, we should focus only on our goal of attaining God. Laziness, carelessness, fault-finding, and talking ill of others - we should stop all this and focus on earning spiritually. Spend each moment thinking of Hari Guru, and continuously plan and bring into practice how we can serve them with our body, mind, and wealth. This is only our true earning. Utilize the body, mind, and wealth to the minimum extent for the world, just as much as needed for filling the stomach - if you use any more than that, you will be punished.

Read yourself - think, feel, and rectify - then slowly, you will progress each day. We should only think of our own progress - only think about how we can earn spiritually. Keep your worldly interactions to a minimum. Also, ensure you don't have any unfavourable thoughts at all - this will increase your ego, reduce your humility, bhakti (devotion) will be gone, and the mind will become soiled. When we cannot be careful ourselves, what can a Guru do? Be alert, focus on earning spiritual wealth, and save yourself from losing it.

We should now understand where our rise and fall lie, and be careful in the future as well.
