🌷✨Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj ki Jai!✨🌷
Jagadguru Aadesh:
do ko jani bhūlo mana goviṃda rādhe।
eka mauta dūjo hari guru ko batā de॥
Always remember two spiritual truths:
1) The unpredictable nature of death, and
2) Devotion to God and Guru.
The thought of death crosses your mind occasionally, especially when you witness someone passing away. In such moments, you briefly reflect that one day, you, too, will have to die. However, you do not retain this awareness constantly. Except for God-realized saints, no one can predict the exact moment of their death.
In the Mahabharata, when Yaksha questioned Yudhishthir, "Kim āścaryam?" - What is the greatest wonder of the world? Yudhishthir replied:
“ahanyahanibhūtāni gacchantīha yamālayam। śeṣā: sthiratvamicchanti kimāścaryamataḥ param”
Even though people witness others departing from this world every day, they continue to believe that they themselves will remain here forever. Nothing is more astonishing than this.
By constantly remembering death, you will not become careless. You will not procrastinate your devotional practice (sādhanā).
A person who has never met a genuine saint remains unaware of who they truly are and what their ultimate purpose in life should be. All their parents have ever taught them is to earn a living, eat, love their children, and die. Such a life is truly unfortunate.
On the other hand, you are extremely fortunate because you have understood this profound philosophy. God has bestowed three immense graces upon you:
manuṣyatvaṃ mumukṣutvaṃ mahāpuruṣa saṃbhava: -
1. Human body,
2. The association of a genuine saint and
3. Receiving divine knowledge from him.
Now, the fourth grace lies in your hands - you must engage in sādhanā.
