श्री गोपाल मंदिर (महू) लीला

                  Gopal Mandir located at MhoW(Military Headquarter of War) currently known as Ambedkar Nagar is a very old temple of Krishn.Mhow is a small town place located about 32km from the city of Indore & is famous for its large military establishments.Gopal Mandir is located at the periphery of Mhow.Today colonies have grown round it but during 30's & 40's it was a secluded place with few houses belonging to the people of Marwadi community & few to the muslim community.This Gopal Mandir has been a witness of the starting of the Divine Spiritual mission of our Maharajji.

Maharajji has studied आयुर्वॆद at the अष्टांग‌ आयुर्वॆद महाविघालय‌ located at Indore & संस्कृत‌ at the संस्कृत महाविघालय‌ located at Mhow during 1936-1938.And in the year of 1938 when he was just 16 years old he started a non-stop chanting session of हरॆ राम महामन्त्र at the Gopal Mandir which continued for six months.Thus distributing the bliss of ब्रज रस & निकुंज रस‌ to the deserving souls.


It was the early part of the सावन मास‌ of the year of 1938 when the Main priest of the temple had an unusual dream in which he saw the deity of Gopal in its original divine form as Krishn sheding tears & looking at the gate of the temple & saying प्रिया जू तुम कब आऒगी! & immediately Radha appearing from the gate & asking for the permission of the priest to carry a chanting session of Mahamantra.The priest waked up with a thrill in his heart.He pondered over the dream but was unable to understand the essence of the dream & so endulged himself into his daily activities.


"Swamiji-Swamiji"-The priest overheard the voice of one of his attendants when he was about to rest after completing the noon rituals.
"Swamiji a young Boy of संस्कृत महाविघालय named राम कृपालु त्रिपाठी has come to meet u who is considered to be a महापुरूष‌ even by the learned scholars of the महाविघालय"-The attendent exclaimed with amazement.




"महापुरूष"-The priest laughed.
"Anway bring him to me immediately else i have to rest"-The priest replied with a heavy tone.
"राम‍ राम‌ swamiji"-The young boy wished the priest while entering the room.
"राम‍ राम‌...What do u want?"-The priest replied with a taunt.
"I want to carry a non-stop chanting session of Mahamantra in the temple for few months"-The young boy said.
"For few months!"...exclaimed the priest in amazement & said-"Boy even a महापुरूष श्री स्वामी राघवाचार्य‌ of Rajasthan who has many disciples in the marwadi community couldn't carry it for few days ...then how could u?
"Do u consider urself to be a Mahapurush?"-The priest again taunted.
"No swamiji"-The young boy humbly replied.
"Then boy there is the gate...its time for u to take leave"-The priest grudged while pointing to the door.
"OK Swamji...So may i take ur leave"-The young boy said with a naughty smile to the priest who in time has turned his back towards the young boy.


"How many times should i say it"-The priest said bitterly turning to the young boy.
But to his amazement he saw Radha in place of the young boy smilingly mischieviously at the priest thus reminding him of his dream.Having this vision the priest understood who this young boy is...& so stood there with folded hands & threw himself at the feet of the young boy saying माँ-माँ & sheding profuse tears.


Now the scene was radicaly changed...when Maharajji came to meet the priest he was sitting on the bed & maharajji on the floor.But,Now the priest made maharajji to sit on the bed & himself sat down on the floor crying & repenting on his mistake.But as we all know how naughty our maharajji is...so he once again asked for the permission to carry out the chanting session...But this time priest replied..."माँ आप भी उतनी ही चंचल हॊ जितना की कान्हा है"|


But how can we carry the session for few months in this secluded place?-The priest questioned with doubt.
"Leave it to me"-Maharajji said smilingly.

मनगढ़ धाम तुझे प्रणाम

       !! मैं हूँ मनगढ़ ग्राम !!

      मनगढ़ धाम तुझे प्रणाम 

           

मैं इसकी महिमा का क्या वर्णन करूँ |  धन्यातिधन्य है ये मनगढ़ ग्राम, यह धरती, जहाँ अहर्निश भगवन्नाम की मधुर ध्वनि गूँजती रहती है | राधे राधे नाम मेरे परमाणु परमाणु में व्याप्त हो गया है | समस्त तीर्थ मेरे अन्दर आकर समा गये हैं |

मनगढ़ ग्राम-  मेरा जगदगुरु तो सारे शास्त्र वेद बोलता है | सब श्रुतियाँ, पुराण, रामायण, गीता, महाभारत सबके श्लोक जगदगुरु के स्वर में यहाँ का वायुमंडल बन चुके हैं | तब ही तो यहाँ कि वायु का स्पर्श आनंद का स्रोत हो गया है |

मैं अक्सर देखता हूँ कर्मी, ज्ञानी,भक्त, यहाँ आते हैं, मेरी धूलि मस्तक पर धारण करते हैं और पोटली बाँध कर ले जाते है, मेरे पूछने पर उत्तर देते हैं - प्यारे मनगढ़ ग्राम ! तुम भी अपनी महिमा का स्वयं गुणगान नहीं कर पाओगे, यहीं जगदगुरु खेला है, इसी रज में पला है बड़ा हुआ है.........।

जा मनगढ़ को धूल कण श्री राधारति दैन,
जहँ चहुँ दिसि सो सुनि परै राधे राधे बैन।

"बाल गोपाल की कथा"

           लाला ने देखा कि बहुत देर से मैया दही बिलो रही है तो उठकर आये, रात्रि को सोते समय मैया कृष्ण की आँखों में काजल लगाती है तो सबेरे उठते ही कन्हैया दोनों हाथ से आँखें मलकर आये तो जगन्नाथ भगवान् की सी गोल-गोल आँखें बन गयी, वो काजल आधे गाल पर फैल जाता, घुटमन-घुटमन चलकर आये, मटकी को पकड़कर खड़े हो गये।

          मैया बोली- ओहो ! आ गये तुम, कन्हैया ने कही- मैया, बड़ी जोर की भूख लग रही है, माखन दे दो, मैया बोली- माखन तो अबहीं निकरयो नांय, पहले हाथ मुँह धो, ज्यादा भूख लगी है तो रात्रि को माखन वा मटकी में धरयो है, नेक मिश्री मिलायकें खायले, ना मैया, मैं तो ताजौ माखन लुँगौ, याही मटकी में से लुँगो और अबही लुँगो, मचल गये। मैया बोली- लाला तू मोय तंग करै, तो मौकूं अच्छौ नाय लगै, तू बड़ो ऊधम मचावै, अबही निकरयो ही नाय तो माखन, बोले, ना मै तो ताजौ ही लूंगो, मैया ने सोचा, भूख-वूख तो इसे लगी नहीं है, बच्चों को तो जो बात मन में आ जाय बस वही चाहिये, मैया ने लाला कौ गोदी में लै लियौ और बोली, देखियो ये ऊपर क्या है ? कन्हैया बोले, क्या है ? मैया बोली- चन्दा मामा है, सो चन्दा को देखते ही कान्हा माखन भूल गये, हम तो चन्दा लेंगे, हम तो चन्दा लेंगे, हमकूं चंदा चाहिये और अब ही चाहिये, मैया ने कही- हाँ, चंदा लेंगे, चंदा लेंगे करतो रह तब-तक मेरो माखन निकल आयगो, साड़ी पकड़कर खड़े हो गये, माखन-वाखन बाद में निकलेगा पहले चंदा चाहिये, मैया बोली- हे भगवान् अब क्या करूं ?

         मैया ने बहुत बड़ी परात में पानी भरकर रख दिया, ले आय गयौ चंदा, हाथ मारकर बोले ये तो पानी है, मैं तो वाही को लुँगो, अब ज्यादा तंग जब करने लगे तो मां यशोदा को थोड़ा क्रोध आ गया, मैया बोली, बहुत ही परेशान करै, लाला को गोदी से नीचे पटक दियौ, चलौ जा यहां से, चंदा लेंगे चंदा लेंगे सुबेरे से परेशान कर रहयौ है मोय। जैसे ही मैया ने फटकार लगा दी तो गुस्सा के मारे गुब्बारे जैसौ मुंह फूल गयो गोविन्द को, कमर पर हाथ धर के यशोदा मैया की ओर देख रहे हैं, बोले- ओ बुढ़िया मैया, चंदा दोगी कि नहीं, मैया बोली- धमकी देय रहयौ है मोय? नाय देय रही चंदा, बोल क्या करेगौ, संसार में दो ही हठ सबसे विचित्र होती हैं, एक बाल हठ और दूसरा आप सब जानते हैं, मैं बताऊँगा नहीं।

         बालकों की हठ बड़ी विचित्र होती है, बालक यदि अपनी बात पर अड़ जाये तो उस काम को करके ही मानै और दूसरी हठ अपनी बात पर आ जाय तो करके माने, कन्हैया मचल गये कितनी सुंदर धमकी दे रहे हैं मैया यशोदा को "चन्द्र खिलौना लैहों री मैया चन्द्र खिलौना लैहों" यदि तुमने चंदा नहीं दिया तो जमीन पर लेट जायेंगे, पूरे शरीर पे बालू लगा लेंगे, तुम्हारी गोद में बिल्कुल नहीं आयेंगे। मैया बोली- दारी के मत आ, मेरी गोद मैं नाय आवेगो तो मैं बलराम को गोद में लेय लूंगी पर चंदा नहीं दूंगी, जो करनो है सो कर ले, कन्हैया ने सोचा, ये धमकी काम नहीं कर रही है तो "सुरभि को पय पान न करिहों बेणी सिर न गुथैहों" यदि तुम चंदा नहीं देओगी तो सुरभि गाय को दूध नहीं पिऊँगो, बालों में फूल नाय लगाऊँगों।

           मैया बोली- दारी के एक तो वैसे ही तू दुबलौ-पतलौ है, दूध ना पीवैगो तो तेरो पेट पीठ में ही चिपक जायगो और दुबलो हो जावेगो, तू कारौ तो है ही लाला, सुन्दर तो है नाय, तेरी चोटी गूंथ के मैं तौहै थोड़ा सुन्दर बना देती हूँ, चोंटी ना गुथवावोगौ तो मैं तो बलराम की गूंथ देऊँगी, मत आवे मेरी गोद में, भगवान् ने देखा कि ये धमकी भी काम नहीं कर रही है। कन्हैया बोले- या तो हमें चंदा दे दो नहीं तो हमारे पास एक बात ऐसी है, सुनाय दयी तो चंदा देनों ही पड़ेगो, मैया बोली- तू जै बात होयै जा सबने सुना दें मैं चंदा ना दे रही, अब लाला सोचने लगा कुछ तो करना पड़ेगा, यदि तुमने हमें चंदा नहीं दियो तो ब्रजवासीयों की पंचायत में कह देंगे, सुनो मैया हम केवल नंदबाबा के बेटा है, यशोदा के बेटा नहीं हैं। यदि मोकुं अपनो पुत्र बनानो है तो पहले हमको चंदा दे दो, नहीं तो तू हमारी मैया नहीं और हम तुम्हारे पुत्र नहीं, रूठकर जाकर कौने में बैठ गये, साढ़े तीन बरस का कृष्ण जब रूठकर कौने में जाकर बैठा तो मैया यशोदा के नेत्रों से प्रेमाश्रु निकल पड़े, मैया बोली- अरे तू ऐसी तोतरी वाणी बोले तोकूं कहीं मेरी ही नजर ना लग जाये।

         दौड़कर यशोदा ने लाला को अंक में भर लिया और गोद में बिठा लिया, अरे लाला, एक मीठी बात कहूं, बोले कह दो, तूं रूठ्यौ ना कर, ऐसो नाराज मत हो, माखन से भी कोमल, चंदा से भी सुन्दर तेरे लिए एक नयी बहू लै आऊँगी, बहू का नाम सुनते ही चंदा भी भूल गये, श्रीमान् बोले बहू लेंगे हम तो बहू लेंगे, मैया हंसकर बोली- मुंह धोयबो तौ आवै नाय और बहू लेंगे। तोहे भोजन तो मैं अपनी गोद में बिठाकर कराऊँ, भोजन करनो आवे नाय, बहू लेगो, तू जानै बहू कैसी होवै? बहुत लम्बी होय बहू, तू तो छोटो सो लाला है बहू तो बड़ी लम्बी होय, कन्हैया बोले- हम छोटे है तो बहू भी छोटी ही ले लेंगे, मैया बोली- ठीक है आज माखन बाद में निकारूंगी पहले तेरे लिए बहू ही लै आऊँ, बता कितनी बड़ी बहू लै आऊँ।

         कन्हैया बोले- इतनी बड़ी लै आइयो जो हम गाय चरावे जायो करें तो जेब में धर के लै जायो करै, मैया बोली- गुड़ियाकी कह रहयो दीखै, सो लाकर गुड़िया हाथ में दै दई और सब भूल गये, साढ़े तीन बरस का बालक क्या जाने बहू क्या होती है? अब सब भूल गये कन्हैया और मैया यशोदा की गोद में चढ़ गये।

Guidelines for Devotees:

Respected Badi Didi has recommended the following guidelines for devotees considering their welfare:

1. Always believe that God (Hari) and Master (Guru) are with you. Never think that you are alone, they are always protecting you and will continue to do so. Build on this faith. Keep calling them with tears in your eyes and they will definitely hear you one day.

2. Think about Maharaj ji’s leelas (pastimes), his qualities, his acts of kindness and his grace continuously.

3. Do not let your mind be a free bird. Keep it engaged in thoughts of Maharaj ji only in some way or the other. Listen to his lectures and sankirtan on YouTube, if that does not hold your mind then pick up any book written by Maharaj ji and read it. If your mind still roams about here and there, then cry and pray to Maharaj ji asking for his grace.

4. Do not have any ill feelings towards one another. Work on increasing feelings of mutual respect towards each other.

5. The amount of labour that Maharaj ji has put in with us is beyond our imagination. Do not let his efforts go waste, lead your life based on his principles only.

6. Getting depressed is a sign of disrespect towards Maharaj ji. One gets sad only due to lack of sadhana (spiritual practice). Both sadhana and sewa (service) are equally important. Engage in service of Hari and Guru while remembering “Radhey” name with every breathe.

7. Use mobile phone at bare minimum, limit your conversations to necessary talks. Else use your phone only to hear and watch Maharaj ji’s matter.
