💫April 22, 2023: Highlights of soulful morning sadhana🎼
🌷✨Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj ki Jai!✨🌷
Jagadguru Aadesh:
Increase your humility -
You have to understand and practice three things: 1. Humility 2. Roopdhyan 3. Chanting of the names, qualities, and pastimes of Shri Radha Krishna. Among these, you all practice only one - sankirtan (chanting the names, qualities, and pastimes). Doing kirtan just with the physical senses is akin to a lifeless body. Tears won't come without humility and Roopdhyan. Chanting without tears is not true kirtan.
1. Become humble - this is the first chapter in devotion. The more humble you become, the dearer you will be to God and Guru. Think that others are better than you. We have all the faults of Maya - hence realize yourself as fallen and sinful.
Also, realize that Shri Krishna is within everyone. Do not have ill feelings towards others such as considering them inferior, finding faults, or having feelings of disrespect. Do not have ill feelings even if the person is genuinely deplorable - because this will further pollute your mind. By doing this we will make God and Guru unhappy.
Bring God and Guru into your mind, only they are pure. Through Them alone, our minds can be cleansed.
On the spiritual path, do not desire position, prestige/popularity, or appreciation. The craving for reputation has caused the downfall of great yogis.
2. Roopdhyan - bring God in front of you in your mind. The more the mind does Roopdhyan of God, the closer you will get to God and the closer God will come towards you.
3. Sankirtans of the name, quality, and pastimes of Shri Radha Krishna - shed tears of love, and call out to Them.
Think before sleeping - when all was I arrogant today? Where all did my mind try to establish a reputation? This foolish mind is the one that is making us wander around in the 84 lakh forms. The ego is a dangerous enemy - save yourself from it and do sadhana. Also, ask for forgiveness and behave sweetly with the one for whom you have already developed ill feelings, in such a way that even the other person starts engaging in devotion.
Practice this and see how much progress you make each day. Then Shri Maharaj Ji will come here again and again even without being invited and serve you.
